Day 84: Crab Cakes

Today I had a late lunch with Fee after wandering around DJ's looking at pretty dresses. I also checked out the Nicki Minaj for MAC lipstick but it really didn't suit me. Dammit. 

Day 83: Milson Park

Today we had a social club function at Milson Park in Kirribilli. I've lived in the area for 5 years now and never knew this park existed. Isn't it gorgeous? The tall palm trees remind me a lot of southern California. Love.

Day 82: Site inspections

Today P and I did some site inspections at various venues for some upcoming work events. It was a great afternoon looking at the different options out there. My favourite venue was The Star. They have really done an amazing job there and it looks like that's where I'll be hosting my birthday this year!

Day 81: Shortened words

By now some of you will have seen the funny video clip "The Life Organic" on YouTube which pokes fun at Bondi hipsters! In one part they mention a heap of words that have been shortened and I confess to being guilty of saying many of them. Oops!

Day 80: The Oaks

I love The Oaks! And I love cooking my own steak (perfectly I might add, thanks to the iBeef app on my iPhone) and drinking cider. And I love the weather at the moment! And I love going out after work to destress with good friends. And I love that old oak tree that features in the courtyard. Can you all tell that I'm quite the creature of habit yet?! Haha.

Day 79: Sharks vs Manly

We won!!! Yay!!!! Life feels great when the Sharkies are winning. And what a great win it was with a thrilling finish to just keep out Manly. I was impressed with both teams' ability to hold onto the ball in the pouring rain with almost no dropped ball until the last 15 mins or so. Huge thanks to Han who came on the long trip with me and sat in the rain for about 45 mins until it cleared up in the second half. Well played Sharkies! Thanks for an exciting game of footy.

Day 78: Australis Speck-tacular

Unfortunately I couldn't get a good shot of this polish on my iPhone and I had left my camera at work. Anyway, this is Australis's newish nailpolish Speck-tacular over a coat of OPI Black Onyx and a coat of Sportsgirl's Northern Lights. Here is a pic of the first coat of Northern Lights
